Whenever they went out in public as a couple, people would stare at them. Booker couldn’t have cared less, the opinions of people who meant nothing to him had never been important. But it bothered his shy partner and whatever bothered Hanson, bothered him.
“Do you want me to beat them up for you?” Booker asked, distracting Hanson for a little while.
Hanson laughed, “All of them?”
“If that’s what it’ll take to get you to relax.”
“That’d be a pretty long line…”
“You know I’d do it.” And Booker probably would too.
“I don’t doubt it, but I don’t think I have the money to bail you out for assault.”

His first impression of Booker hadn’t been very good. It hadn’t really been very accurate either, but he’d learned to ignore that fact.
He’d seen everything he disliked about people all rolled into one. A self-absorbed egomaniac with no respect for authority, or anyone for that matter.
Booker had rubbed him the wrong way from the beginning (and continued to do so every chance he got, just for fun.)
He’d shared his thoughts with Penhall over a beer one night.
Penhall snorted, then grinned, “Yeah, I’m not surprised you two ended up together though, you’re more alike then you realize.”

“Cap'n Crunch.” Hanson confirmed.
Booker suddenly walked by, dropping a folder on Hanson’s desk, pausing to smile at the sitting officer. A matching stud in Booker’s ear caught Penhall’s attention.
Hanson smiled at him before Booker walked away and the smile remained even after he’d gone.
Penhall looked at Hanson. “Cap'n Crunch.”
Hanson nodded, hiding behind the folder. “Cap'n Crunch.”
Penhall snorted.

Notes: Kay, here’s an important note to remember: I started this story with the original intent of giving each character one day, ONE DAY to be a Chibi, that meant two to three chapters per character…hmm…200+ pagers later and that’s obviously not the case anymore. Considering we hadn’t been introduced to Malik, Marik, Rishid, Isis, Duke and all them other people at the time this had started.
People must not have realized that this was a HUMOUR story, and when it was first published, it was the ONLY Chibi story that hadn’t been written in SCRIPT format, that is the whole reason that I even began to write it. As soon as it became popular, others started to write in an actual story format (thank god!).
Again, I’ll point out this is a HUMOUR story with a little bit of angst (more towards then end because I have been writing this story for almost three years) I’ve matured in my way of writing and I can’t seem to go back to the way I wrote at the beginning of Chibi For A Day.
If you have a problem with something, like why Joey can suddenly speak French because he apparently can’t in the show, remember it’s just a story and it’s for humour purposes. If you don’t like the fact that I mention characters from other anime and there seems to be no reason for it, remember, it’s just a story and it’s for humour purposes and frankly, I felt like it. Okay?
By the way, some things have been changed, but a lot hasn't been. Some things have been added however. I'll start playing a word count of each chapter compared to the unrevised chapter so you can see the difference (unless you wanna read the entire thing over again!)

“Yes, yes I was.” Tom took a gulp of his beer.
“Date much?” Booker flipped another page.
“Oh yeah…well, a little.” Tom paused, “Okay, there was one girl from a dance.” He muttered quietly.
Realizing he’d brought up bad memories, Booker nudged Tom’s arm. “Hey, I’d have dated you.”
Tom looked at him with something akin to appreciation in his eyes, but then he snorted into his beer. “No you wouldn’t have.”
Booker smirked, “Yeah, you’re probably right.”
Tom rolled his eyes, but looked at the other, “Thanks Dennis.”
“Heh. No problem.”
